Actual word-for-word interview questions…
For those of you in interview season like myself…here are some sample interview questions that I’ve had in interviews where they let me keep a copy of the questions.
- Describe your assessment tools and explain why they are efficient measurements of student progress.
- Describe your daily lesson plans. How do you write a plan, and what is included in each plan?
- What are some approaches to teaching that have helped all students succeed?
- Imagine you are teaching a course, previously taught by another teacher who is experienced and well respected. One day toward the end of class, a student says to you, “this class sucks, I wish Ms./Mr. ______ were still teaching it.” How would you respond?
- How do you plan on involving parents in their students’ learning?
- During your teaching experience, how have you grown professionally? (I can never think of a really good answer to this one.)
- What methods have you used to informally assess student learning without grading?
- Describe what type of person you are, and explain how this would make our school a better place.
- As we walk past your classroom and look inside, what should we expect to see?
These are just some examples…if you want more (I have tons, which is actually kinda sad)…reblog this!
these will come in handy in two years time..thankyou!
